I don't know whether this is what you are looking for, but believe me, once you have tried this recipe you will make it again and again!
CHEWY PRALINES
2-cups sugar
2-cups white corn syurp
1-lb butter
2-cups whipping cream
2-tsp vanilla
7-cups chopped pecans
Over medium low heat cook together sugar and white corn syurp. Cook until candy thermometer reaches 250 degrees. Remove from heat and add butter. Stir until disolved. Add whipping cream (not whipped) slowly. Return to heat and cook until thermoeter reaches 242 degrees stiring constantly. remove from heat and add vanilla and pecans. Drop on foil. When cool wrap in plastic wrap.
