CHICKEN AND DUMPLINGS
I hope you are not into measuring, because I just watched my mother and grandmother and have never measured anything. If you hold your mouth right these will be the best dumplins you've ever eat.
Stew your chicken (I use breast because I like white meat).
Take out the chicken; set aside.
Add milk and 1 stick of butter to broth; salt and pepper to taste. Fill your pot about 1/2 full.
Make biscuit dough just like you are going to put them on a pan. Drop them in your broth. Cover and cook about 20 minutes (just a bubble not a rolling boil). The flour on the biscuits will make the thickening.
Just before you serve drop in the deboned chicken.
Set back and enjoy.
