CHOCOLATE PICK-ME-UP CAKE
This rich-tasting devil's food cake with baked-on topping is made with a mix and is ready to eat right from the oven.
FOR THE CAKE:
1 pkg. (2-layer size) Pillsbury Plus Devil's Food Cake Mix
1 cup dairy sour cream
1/2 cup water
3 eggs
FOR THE TOPPING:
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup coconut
Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease and flour 13x9-inch pan.
In large bowl, combine all cake ingredients at low speed until moistened; beat 2 minutes at highest speed. Pour batter into prepared pan.
In small bowl, combine all topping ingredients. Sprinkle evenly over batter.
Bake at 350 degrees F for 30 to 40 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool completely.
Makes 12 servings
