Recipe(tried): Chop Suey Cookies (using chow mein noodles)

Desserts - Cookies, Brownies, Bars
These were part of a cookie exchange at work in 1997 and sound like what you are looking for. I remember them being crunchy, rich and creamy tasting. Yum!

CHOP SUEY COOKIES

1 (6 ounce) bag chocolate chips
2 bags (6 ounces each) butterscotch chips
3/4 cup cashews (or your favorite nut), chopped
1 (3 ounce) can (2 cups) chow mein noodles

Melt chips in double boiler.

Remove from heat; stir in nuts and chow mein noodles.

Drop by teaspoonful on wax paper.

Let stand until cool, approximately 20 minutes, then refrigerate until set.

Makes about 3 dozen.
