Misc.CHUNKY TOMATO TOPPING
1 (1 lb) can stewed tomatoes*
1 tbsp cornstarch
1/4 tsp crushed thyme
Combine ingredients in saucepan. Stir to dissolve cornstarch. Cook, stirring constantly until thickened and translucent.
Serve over chicken, seafood, rice, omelets, or frittatas.
*Can be made with Del Monte Italian style or Mexican style stewed tomatoes. Omit thyme. Use with Italian or Mexican dishes.
