Recipe(tried): Grandma Guerber's Marshmallow Creme Fudge

Desserts - Candy, Chocolate
Pamela, not sure where my Grandmother got this recipe but it contains the ingredients you listed. It's what our family makes when the occasion calls for fudge. It freezes well.

GRANDMA GUERBER'S MARSHMALLOW CREME FUDGE

1 (7 ounce) jar marshmallow cr me
1 1/2 cups sugar
2/3 cup evaporated milk
1/4 cup butter or margarine
1/4 teaspoon salt
12 ounces semi-sweet chocolate morsels*
1/2 cup chopped nuts
1 teaspoon vanilla

Grease an 8-inch square pan.

Combine marshmallow creme, sugar, milk, margarine and salt in a heavy saucepan. Bring to a full boil, stirring constantly. Boil 5 minutes over moderate heat, stirring constantly.

Remove from heat. Add semi-sweet morsels and stir until melted. Stir in nuts and vanilla. Pour immediately into prepared pan. Chill until firm.

*I imagine you could use half milk chocolate and half semi-sweet morsels.
