I tried this and I came pretty close to that decadent dish that Claim Jumper used to serve.
BLACK TIE PASTA
(like Claim Jumper's)
Bottle of Alfredo Sauce
Cream Cheese
Butter
Chicken tenderloins, parboiled in chicken stock, cut into pieces
Garlic Powder
Grated Parmesan Cheese
Salt & Pepper
Farfalle (bow tie pasta), boiled al dente and cooled off
Spinach Tortellini, par boiled and cooled off
Grated Romano Cheese
Dried Parsley Flakes
In a deep skillet, pour in Alfredo Sauce and throw in cream cheese to melt. Simmer in low heat.
In another skillet, throw in butter and brown parboiled chicken tenderloin pieces. Season with salt pepper, garlic powder, and Parmesan cheese.
When the chicken pieces are done, set aside 1/4 of the chicken in a warming plate. At this point, you should still have liquid butter in your skillet together with the rest of the browned pieces of chicken tenderloin.
Dump pasta and tortellini into the Alfredo sauce which by now should be hot, thick and bubbly.
Toss pasta and tortellini gently in the sauce coating them thoroughly without breaking the tortellinis. Fold in the browned chicken pieces that are in the other skillet together with some Romano cheese in the mix.
Place pasta and chicken concoction on to a serving dish; top with the chicken pieces we set aside earlier and dried parsley flakes and the remaining grated Romano Cheese.
Hope you like it.
