HAM LOAF
FOR THE HAM LOAF:
1 1/2 lb. ground cooked ham
3/4 cup Quaker Oats (quick or old fashioned, uncooked)
1/2 cup sweet pickle relish
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
2 eggs
1 cup milk
FOR THE SAUCE:
1 cup heavy (whipping) cream, whipped
2 tablespoons horseradish
TO MAKE THE HAM LOAF:
Combine all ingredients for the ham loaf together thoroughly. Shape to form a loaf in shallow baking pan.
Bake in preheated moderate oven (350 degrees F) about 1 hour. Let stand 5 minutes before slicing.
FOR MAKE THE CREAM SAUCE:
Combine whipped cream and horseradish. Serve with ham loaf.
Makes 8 servings
