Not a diet dish:
COUCH POTATO SALAD
6 good size potatoes
12 eggs (2 eggs for each potato)
green onions, sliced green and white parts (1 bunch should be plenty)
bacon
salt and pepper to taste
mayonnaise (I use Best Foods or Kraft - I have never tried it with salad dressing/Miracle Whip)
Boil eggs and spuds until done. Either run under cold water until cooled off or set in the frig until you're ready.
Slice bacon in 1/4 in. pieces (more is always better). Fry up and set aside.
Peel the cooled eggs and potatoes place in large bowl.
THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT PART!!!! (no laughing) my mother did it this way. I forgot once had to almost throw the darn thing out. Take your bowl, knife and yourself out to the living room sit down in front of the TV and chop your eggs and potatoes into small bite size pieces, when done go back to the kitchen.
Combine everything in the same bowl add your mayo, salt and pepper. We like ours with a good amount of mayo.
This will have more flavor the next day as so many things do. Although good cold, I like it at out of the frig about an hour. Just plain yummmmmmmmmmmmm
