Recipe: Cranberry Jello (2)

CRANBERRY JELLO

1 (8 oz.) can crushed pineapple
1 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry Jello
1/3 cup mayonnaise
2 tbsp. vinegar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 (5 oz.) can evaporated milk
1 (16 oz) can whole berry cranberry sauce

Drain juice from pineapple into cup. Add water to make 3/4 cup liquid. Heat to boiling. Dissolve Jello in liquid. Set aside to cool.

Combine mayonnaise, vinegar, and salt. Gradually add cooled gelatin.

Mix in evaporated milk, pineapple, and cranberries. Pour into mold. Chill.

CRANBERRY SALAD

1 (3 oz.) pkg. red Jello
1 (16 oz.) can whole cranberry sauce
1 (8 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained
2 cups miniature marshmallows
1 (8 oz.) container Cool Whip, thawed
chopped pecans (optional)

Prepare Jello according to the directions on box. Add all the other ingredients and chill.

Best made the night before it is to be used.
