Recipe(tried): Cranberry Tea for my dear friend Gina

Beverages
I am glad to hear that the cranberry punch will work for you this holiday season but it made me think of another beverage that is a "must try". We make this EVERY year and enjoy usually while decorating the tree or on Christmas Eve or it is just nice to have on hand when someone drops by. Now, I know that it might be hard to think about this while you are so nice and warm in Florida but here in chilly Michigan it is a real treat.

CRANBERRY TEA

Combine:
3 qts. water
1 cinnamon stick
1 pound fresh cranberries

Boil 10 minutes, popping and bruising the cranberries with the back of a large spoon. Drain the liquid pouring through a strainer.

Add:
2 cups sugar
2/3 cup orange juice
1/3 cup lemon juice

Serve hot.
