Misc.
Thank you Manyhats :) For all the wonderful sounding recipes. You are so sweet [asis everyone on here] to post for me :)

By the way, I LOVE you name :) I can realate to it also :) I so many times say I need to be 12 of me but most times I can't stand one of me so what would I do with 12 of me :) :) My dear mother would always say that she thought the only word she forgot to teach me to say was "NO".....lol :) I love being busy so I guess one of me will do :) I am 60 years old and am a in home state/county certified daycare provider. I have been state/county certified for 5 years now and collective been doing daycare for about 25 years. I teach 1st and 2nd grade Sunday School Class, use to teach kindergarten church, use to teach in the toddler Sunday School Class, was a Caravan guide and director up untill this year, I am in Big Brothers Big Sisters :) [my mother always said I needed my own orphange too :)].......have my own wood working shop.......I love do do country/primitive crafts......cater dinners cor church and friends....have 5 grown children..........16 grandchildren........1 great-grandaughter with one great due in May :) YUP :) :) I need to be 12 of me at times :) But as age moves in one me I am starting to say "NO" and taking time for me and to do what I want for me so I can trully enjoy and not stress so much over things :) like cooking dinner at home for 200 people and transporting it to the church to serve it :) when I would do meals like that it would all be homemade from scratch........whew......what a wonderful DH I have :) :) without him I could never have done or do it all :) Just had Christmas dinner/party last night at the church with 3 other certified providers for our daycare children and their families :) it turned out great! We each made a meat, potato, veggi, desser according to the number of people we each would have attending......turned out wonderfully......almost no food left over.....we had close to 60 there and of course Santa made his appearance :)........I made 40 pieces of oven baked chicken, green beans with good smoked bacon [makes the taste like they are fresh from the garden but are really from a can :) I have had people ask me where I get such fresh beans this time of year.....have to tell them they are canned and it is all in the way you fix them :)] we were each to do a finger desser so I did the ole krispy treats with red/green sugar on top and a candy santa face on each one.............had to think of the children there :) there was ham, cole slaw, baked beans, buttered corn, cheesy potatoes, I made my oven browned potatoes, and of course there was hot dogs and mac&cheese with tons of cookies and cupcakes........had to think of the children and keep them happy and keep it down to their level :) Well........looks like I have written a book to you :) You have a WONDERFUL AND BLESSED DAY :)
