Recipe: Cream-Style Limas and Mushrooms

CREAM-STYLE LIMAS AND MUSHROOMS

1 (3 oz) can sliced mushrooms
1 (10 oz) pkg frozen baby lima beans
1/4 cup chopped onion
1/2 tsp sugar
1/2 tsp salt
dash pepper
1/2 cup light cream

Drain mushrooms, reserving liquid. Set mushrooms aside. Add water to mushroom liquid to equal 1/2 cup.

In saucepan, combine the mushroom liquid, beans, onion, sugar, salt and pepper. Bring to boiling; cover and simmer 15 minutes.

Stir in mushrooms and cream; heat through but do not boil. Serve in sauce dishes.
