Hi Anthony...
To me creaming the butter and sugar in a cake is a very important step in baking ..
I cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy..then add eggs one at a time just till they are incorporated into the cake..When adding liquid and flour I beat on low just till they are mixed..Hope this helps..
