CURRIED CHICKEN AND GRAPE SALAD
3 cups diced cooked chicken
1 1/2 cups thinly sliced celery
1 cup green seedless grapes*
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 1/4 teaspoons salt
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
1 1/2 teaspoons curry powder
6 tablespoons mayonnaise
Lettuce leaves (for serving)
3 tablespoons toasted slivered almonds (for garnish)
Combine all the ingredients except lettuce and almonds; toss lightly. Chill.
Serve on lettuce and garnish with almonds.
*If serving to children, cut grapes in half.
