Recipe(tried): Dragon Cakes

Desserts - Cakes
My son also loves dragons and dinosaurs and I made him a dragon cake for his birthday in march this year. I got the plans for the cake from a web site called :-

http://www.webmall1.com/dragoncake.htm

They give really good step by step instructions on how to make the cake. I had a lot of fun decorating it a little differently to the one on the website and even made a V shape out of chocolate to give the dragon an open mouth. I did this by painting the melted chocolate many times onto a piece of folded card and when the chocolate had set I peeled off the card and inserted the V into the cake to make the dragons open mouth. I gave him some pearly white teeth and a pink tongue and he ended up looking pretty impressive. Good Luck!
