Breakfast and BrunchELMA:
Good afternoon.
EASY BREAKFAST PUFF
1 pound of cooked bacon, crumbled, OR cooked ham diced or chopped, or sausage links browned & cut-up small bite-sized chunks OR bulk pork sausage browned & drained well.
1 cup of biscuit mix (You can make your own - click here for recipe)
1 cup chedder cheese shredded
1 tsp dry mustard
1/2 tsp herb of your choice (I would opt for Basil)
6 eggs
2 cups of milk
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a shallow 2-quart casserole dish.
Combine all except eggs and milk.
Beat eggs and then add milk and blend well. Combine with the dry ingredients and pour into prepared casserole dish.
Bake in a preheated oven at 350 degrees for about 1 hour, or till knife blade inserted in the middle comes out clean.
MAKES 6 SERVINGS.
ELMA, ingredients can be mixed earlier & refigerated in a covered bowl until you are ready to continue cooking this concoction. If you like you can substitute hamburger meat cooked & drained for the breakfast meat & serve this for lunch if you like.
Good luck & have a nice day young lady.
