Desserts - Fillings, Frostings
EASY WHITE CHOCOLATE FROSTING

1 cup heavy whipping cream
6 oz. white chocolate, chopped
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 cup unsalted butter, room temperature
1 container Duncan Hines Vanilla Buttercream Frosting, chilled

In a medium saucepan, heat whipping cream until scalding. Take off of heat.

Add white chocolate and stir until smooth.

Add vanilla and stir to blend. Pour into a large bowl, cover, and chill for 1 hour or until cool.

Add butter and beat for 30 seconds.

Add Duncan Hines frosting and beat until fluffy, about 2 to 5 minutes.

Editor's note:

Hi Mil,

For White Chocolate Almond Frosting I would change the vanilla extract to almond and maybe stir in about 1/2 cup coarsely chopped almonds at the end. If you more almond flavor than that, you could work some almond paste into the canned frosting before beating it into the cream mixture.

Happy Baking!
