ELBOW MACARONI CASSEROLE
1 (16 oz.) pkg. elbow macaroni
1 lb. ground round
Parsley, onion powder, salt, pepper to taste
1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
Shredded Cheddar cheese (optional)
Cook macaroni according to package directions; drain.
Brown ground round with small amount of oil in a large skillet, stirring until crumbly. Drain well.
Add parsley, onion, salt and pepper to taste, mixing well. Stir in tomato sauce. Mix in macaroni gently. Heat to serving temperature. Spoon into serving dish and top with Cheddar cheese, if desired.
Place in oven-proof dish and bake at 350 degrees F for 10 minutes or until cheese is melted, if preferred.
