when i make chicken nuggetts, i usually use a dry batter mix called "Pride of the West". if you can get it where you are, give it a try.
my other tip is lemon pepper. it gives the chicken the "zip" so its not so bland. and if you're feeling really bold, squeeze lemon juice over the strips and cook. yummy hope this helps,
