Recipe: Exquisite Raw Marinara Sauce (using fresh and sun-dried tomatoes, blender)

Main Dishes - Pasta, Sauces
EXQUISITE RAW MARINARA SAUCE

2 cups chopped tomatoes, preferably cherry or heirloom
1 teaspoon minced ginger
2 tablespoons minced garlic
1 teaspoon minced jalapeno
1/3 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped and packed
1/3 cup red bell pepper, minced
1/4 cup fresh oregano leaves, de-stemmed and chopped
1/4 cup Nama Shoyu soy sauce (or 1 1/2 teaspoons sea salt)
1 cup olive oil
1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
2 green olives, pitted
1/4 cup red wine
1/4 cup shallots

Place all ingredients into blender and blend until creamy, about 1 or 2 minutes. This sauce thickens about 2 or 3 minutes after blending; do not blend the sauce until just before you're ready to use it.

Makes 4 servings
