Recipe: Filet Modiga - Cathy this is what I found in the Menu of the Cafe New Yorker in Kansas:

Main Dishes - Beef and Other Meats
FIL T MODIGA
Charbroiled Breaded Medallions Of Beef Tenderloin With A Melted Provolone Cheese And A Mushroom, White Wine And Lemon Sauce. Served With Yukon Gold Mashed Mashed Potatoes And Grilled Asparagus. $21

Another posting described the Modiga Sauce as follows:

modiga ingredients are as follows...steak or chicken covered in olive oil and then seasoned with salt, pepper, and garlic...char meat...sauce...white wine, lemon zest(peel) and juice, mushrooms, small amount of chicken stock and rue (thick mix of flour and butter)...good luck, I got these basic ingredients from a restaurant.
