Recipe(tried): French Fries, Cheese and Gravy = POUTINE

Side Dishes - Potatoes
This is a French Quebec Specialty called "POUTINE". (We pronounce it "Poo tsin".) Easy to make and yummy! Fast Food restaurants serve this or we make at home.
1/ Make french fries as usual.
2/ Sprinkle Cheddar cheese curds over the top of the hot fries. ( Curds are sometimes replaced by Mozzarella curds or shredded cheddar or mozzarella cheese. Not the true thing though!)
3/ Pour hot brown gravy over the top of the fries and curds. ( People use homemade or canned & some even use BBQ Sauce.) "Poutine Sauce" is sold in grocery stores.)

This is not for people watching their cholesterol!
Happy eating! Judy
