Recipe(tried): Fresh Mushroom Pate

Fresh Mushroom Pate
This is always a big hit at parties.

1 pound fresh mushrooms, sliced
1 TBSP. Butter
1 tsp. Sherry
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
1 clove garlic, minced

*Saute mushrooms in butter and sherry until almost all of the liquid is absobed. Combine mushrooms, garlic and cream cheese in food processor or blender. Blend until mushrooms are finely chopped. Refrigerate until it sets up. Bring to room temperature before serving with crackers, melba toast rounds, etc. This will keep in frig for up to 10 days.
