Hi Sandra!
My Grandma and my Mom used to make this pie. I still do also. They always made it with a Graham crust by you could easily do it in a baked pie shell. I hope it is the one you are looking for.
FRUIT COCKTAIL PIE - GRANDMA JAMES
25 marshmallows (don't use stale/hard ones)
1/2 cup milk
1 cup whipping cream
20 ounce can fruit cocktail, drained
1/2 cup butter, softened
10 graham crackers, crushed
Dissolve marshmallows in milk in double boiler. Cool.
Add fruit to whipped cream and fold into the cooled marshmallows.
Line a glass pir plate or 9x9-inch pan with mixture of butter and graham crackers. Pour in fruit mixture. Sprinkle a little graham crumbs on top. Refrigerate 2-3 hours.
