Recipe(tried): Fruited Ginger Ale Salad

FRUITED GINGER ALE SALAD

2 3 oz. pkgs. orange gelatin
1 3 oz. pkg. lemon gelatin
2 cups boiling water
2 cups ginger ale
1 cup pineapple tidbits, drained and 3/4 cup juice
reserved
1 cup mandarin oranges, drained and 3/4 cup juice
reserved
1 cup strawberry halves
1 cup blueberries, washed and drained
2 cups diced bananas

TOPPING:
1 3 oz. pkg. lemon gelatin
3/4 cup sugar
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 cup sour cream

Dissolve gelatin desserts in boiling water; add ginger ale. Cool. Add fruits; pour into 9" X 13" pan. Refrigerate
until set.

Topping:
Mix reserved juices; bring to a boil. Stir in jello until
dissolved; add sugar, vanilla extract, and sour cream.
Pour over congealed mixture; refrigerate to set.
Yield: 15 servings
