Recipe: Fudge Square (Bisquick cake recipe, 1950's)

Here's another recipe I found in my collection. Tell your Mom we said hi and Happy Holidays! - Betsy

FUDGE SQUARE

2 squares (1 oz.) each unsweetened chocolate
1/4 cup butter
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 1/4 cups Bisquick Baking Mix
1/2 cup chopped nuts

Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease an 8- or 9-inch baking pan.

Melt chocolate and butter. Mix in sugar, eggs, (dry) Bisquick and nuts. Spread in prepared pan.

Bake for 30 to 35 minutes.
