Recipe: Garlic Chicken Wings

GARLIC CHICKEN WINGS
1 family pack (about 3 lb.) wings
1 c. soy sauce
1 head garlic
1 tsp. black bean sauce (ethnic aisle)

Wash wings and cut off tips and cut at joint to make 2 pieces. Set aside in
bowl. Split garlic into cloves and peel. Put in blender with soy sauce and
black bean sauce. Set to chop for 1 minute. Pour sauce over wings and marinate
in refrigerator for 0 to 3 hours, depending how garlicy you like it. Place on
flat pan, bake 40 minutes to 1 hour at 350 degree, until wings are crispy and
juices run clear. Excellent alone or serve as a main course over white rice.


GARLIC CHICKEN WINGS
3 lbs. wings or drumettes
1 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. dry mustard
1 tbsp. garlic powder

Roll wings in mixture. Put in pan. Marinate 1-2 hours. Then pour over 1/2
cup soy sauce and 1/3 cup corn syrup. Bake at 300 degrees F for 2 hours. Turn
every 15 minutes on the last hour.


HONEY GARLIC CHICKEN WINGS
1 lg. onion, chopped
1/2 c. honey
1/4 c. soy sauce
Garlic as desired
1/4 c. butter
1/2 c. brown sugar
2 tsp. dry mustard
5 lb. chicken wings, thawed

Combine above ingredients, except for chicken wings and cook 5 minutes. Spread
chicken wings in a large shallow pan, 15 x 10 x 1. Pour sauce over wings. Bake
at 350 degrees uncovered for 1 1/2 hours, turning a couple of times during
cooking.


LINDA'S GARLIC CHICKEN WINGS
2 lb. chicken wings, about 15
2 head fresh garlic, separated and
peeled
1 c. olive oil
2 tbsp. olive oil
10-15 drops hot sauce or Tabasco sauce
1 c. grated Parmesan cheese
1 c. Italian style bread crumbs
1 tsp. black pepper

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Disjoint wings. Rinse and pat dry. Place
garlic, 1 cup olive oil and hot pepper sauce in processor, cover and process
until smooth. Pour into small bowl. Combine Parmesan, bread crumbs, and black
pepper into shallow dish. Dip wings into garlic mixture, then roll one at a
time into bread crumb mixture. Brush baking sheet with 2 tablespoons olive oil,
arrange wings on sheet in single layer. Drizzle remaining garlic mixture over
chicken, sprinkle with remaining crumbs. Bake 45-60 minutes until brown and
crisp.
