Recipe: Glorified Beans (using canned beans, tomato paste, and ground turkey or beef)

GLORIFIED BEANS

1 lb. ground turkey or ground beef
1 1/2 cups chopped onions
3 tbsp. green pepper
1 (12 oz.) can tomato paste
1 cup water
1 (1 lb) can kidney beans, drained
1 (1 lb) can pinto beans, drained
1 (1 lb) can lima beans, drained
1 (1 lb) can pork and beans, drained
2 tbsp. brown sugar
1 tbsp. chili powder
Salt to taste

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Brown ground turkey or beef, onion, and green pepper together in a skillet. Drain and stir in tomato paste, water, brown sugar, and chili powder.

Mix together with beans, salt to taste, and pour into a casserole dish.

Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
