Recipe: Easy Hamburger Quiche (Best Foods, 1970's)

EASY HAMBURGER QUICHE

1/2 lb lean ground beef
1/2 cup Best Foods Mayonnaise
1/2 cup milk
2 eggs
1 tbsp cornstarch
1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar or swiss cheese
1/3 cup chopped green onion
1 dash ground black pepper
1 unbaked (9-inch) pie shell

Brown meat in skillet or microwave. Drain fat and set aside.

Blend mayonnaise, milk, eggs and cornstarch until smooth.

Stir in meat, cheese, onion, and pepper. Turn into pastry shell.

Bake in a 350 degrees F oven for 35 to 40 minutes or until golden on top and knife inserted in center comes out clean.

Makes 6 servings
