Recipe(tried): Greeky's stuffed peppers

If you haven't found one, you're welcome to my adaptation of my great-
grandmother's recipe:

6 green (or red) bell peppers
1 lb. of hamburger
aprrox. 1 C UNCOOKED minute rice
2 cans tomato sauce

Cut the tops off peppers and save tops. Seed and devein pepper. In a bowl, mix
uncooked hamburger and uncooked rice (you'll know how much of each you need by
the way the mixture looks.) Stuff the meat mixture in the pepper. Place in
baking dish. Put it's top on. Cover peppers with the tomato sauce and bake at
350 for approx. 1 hour.

And for some adaptations: My great-grandmother always used ONLY green peppers.
Red peppers give a different flavor. She also used canned whole tomatos
instead of tomato sauce and cooked them on the stove for HOURS. I've done
them in the crock pot, but you need to cook the rice first if you do that. And
other friend and family members have used (instead of tomato sauce) salsa or
speghetti sauce.
