Recipe: Grilled Shrimp Marinade - Cajun Shrimp

Cajun Shrimp (Serves 8)

4 pounds medium shrimp, shelled and deveined

1 cup vegetable oil
1/2 cup chopped green onions
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper (powdered)
1 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon dried red pepper flakes
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme, crumbled
1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary, crumbled
1/4 teaspoon dried oregano, crumbled

Bamboo skewers, soaked in water for 2 hrs and drained.

Combine all ingredients (except skewers) in large bowl, stirring to coat shrimp.

Cover and refrigerate 2 hours, stirring occasionally.

Have your grill ready after the 2 hrs on medium-high heat.

Drain the shrimp and thread onto the skewers. Grill.

The second half of this recipe was lost (the grilling time, that is). Since you have already done shrimp on the grill, you would know the approximate grilling times.
