Recipe: Hamburger Relish

Preserving - Pickles, Relishes
Hamburger Relish

4 qt. ground cucumbers
2 qt. ground onions
4 Tbsp. salt
2 Tbsp. salt
5 c. vinegar
6 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. white mustard seed
1 Tbsp. turmeric
1/4 tsp. ground cloves

Put cucumbers and onions in separate crocks for 3 hours. Put 4 tablespoons salt over cucumbers and 2 tablespoons salt over onions. Drain and add remaining ingredients. Mix all together and cook 7 to 10 minutes. Seal in jars. Good recipe.
