Recipe: Hazelnut Saut Sauce

Hazelnut Saut Sauce

Serves: 6
Prep Time: 15 minutes 1 cup Hazelnuts, toasted and pureed
1 Tblsp vegetable oil
2/3 cup water
2 Tblsp lime juice
2 1/2 Tblsp soy sauce
2 tsp red pepper flakes
1 clove garlic
1 Tblsp lemon juice
Combine all ingredients and blend well. Let set for flavors to mingle.
Sate can be thinned with warm water if it becomes too thick while refrigerated.
Use as a dipping sauce for chicken wings, barbecued pork, vegetables or cheese.
Also good brushed on chicken, port cutlets or fish filets, rolled in finely
chopped Hazelnuts, and sauteed. Serves 6 pork cutlets generously.
Preparation time: 15 minutes.
