Recipe: Heath Bars

Makes 32 bars

2 cups Flour
1 cup Butter
1 1/2 cups Brown sugar
1 cup Pecans, chopped
6 oz Pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 350F.

Mix flour, 1/3 cup of butter and 1 cup of brown sugar until fine. Spread the mixture into a 9 x 13 inch pan. Cover with the pecans.

In a small saucepan, combine 2/3 cup butter and 1/2 cup brown sugar. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until entire surface boils 1/2 to 1 minute. Spread over the nuts.

Bake 18 to 22 minutes. Remove from oven. Immediately sprinkle chocolate chips over top; spread evenly. Cool and the cut into bars.
