HERBED NOODLES
3 to 4 oz uncooked egg noodles (1 to 1 1/2 cups)
1 tablespoon butter or margarine
1/4 teaspoon thyme leaves
1/4 teaspoon chopped fresh basil leaves
1/4 teaspoon snipped parsley
1/4 teaspoon chopped chives (or finely chopped onion)
Cook noodles in 1 quart boiling salted water until tender, 7 to 10 minutes. Drain noodles and return to saucepan.
Mix remaining ingredients together; pour onto noodles and toss.
Makes 2 servings
