Recipe: Here's another one -

While on vacation in Albion, MI last week, I copied a recipe for Turkey-Bean Tater Tot Casserole. Here it is. Let me know how it is!!

Turkey-Bean Tater Tot Casserole

1# Ground Turkey
1 lg. onion
1 can lima beans, undrained
1 can green beans, undrained
6 TB brown sugar
1/2 c. ketchup
1 TB white vinegar
1 ts. salt
1-3 tsp. chili powder
1 can 16 oz. baked beans
1 can kidney beans, undrained
1 can black beans, undrained
1 pkg. 16 oz. Tater Tots

Brown turkey and onion well. Drain limas and green beans, reserving liquid. Add bean liquid, sugar, ketchup, vinegar, salt, and chili powder to skillet containing turkey and onions. Bring to boil. Combine rest of beans in a 13x9 baking dish. Spoon turkey mixture over beans. Bake uncovered at 350 for 40 min. Top with Tater Tots and bake an additional 30 min. or until Tots are crisp.
