Recipe(tried): Korean Spinach - Gina! What a laugh I had when I read about your mami and the sour oranges!
Side DishesOranges for free, can you beat that?!
Now, around here, that wouldn't happen...but apples, girl, I could tell you a tale or two! Not to mention blueberries, salmonberries, blackberries,hazelnuts,...I could go on and on!
Here is the recipe for Korean spinach. You will be craving it if you go too long without; have I blessed you or cursed you with this recipe? you can tell me later, when you decide!
Korean spinach:
1 tablespoon oil
9 ounce bag fresh baby spinach
1/2 clove garlic, minced
1 teaspoon soy sauce
1 teaspoon sesame oil
Dash pepper
1 green onion, chopped
Salt, to taste (needs no salt, IMHO)
In large skillet, heat oil. Saut spinach and garlic just until spinach is wilted. Add remaining ingredients and toss with spinach to coat, adjust seasoning. Serve at once.
Makes 4 small servings
