Recipe: Hot Bacon and Cheese Dip and Jarlesburg Dip

HOT BACON AND CHEESE DIP

8 oz. Velveeta or cheddar cheese, diced (1 1/2 cups)
1 small onion, diced
6 slices bacon, fried and crumbled*
1 cup Hellmann's mayonnaise
1/4 tsp. garlic salt

Mix all ingredients together and place in a small casserole.

Bake, uncovered, for 30 minutes at 350 degrees.

Serve immediately in hollowed loaf of bread with bread chunks or on crackers.

*Can substitute tomatoes, pepperoni, peppers, etc. for bacon in this recipe.


JARLESBURG DIP

1 cup shredded Jarlesburg cheese
1 cup chopped onion
1 cup mayonnaise
10 slices bacon, cooked crisp and crumbled

Mix all together and put into pie plate.

Bake at 325 degrees until mixture bubbles or microwave on high 8 to 10 minutes.
