Appetizers and Snacks
COCA-COLA CHEESE DIP

12 ounces sharp cheddar cheese
4 ounces Roquefort cheese (or blue cheese of your choice)
1 clove garlic
3/4 cup Coca-Cola, divided use
2 tablespoons soft margarine
1 tablespoon grated onion
1 1/2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon dry mustard
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon hot-pepper sauce

Grate cheddar into large mixing bowl. Add crumbled Roquefort; set aside.

Put garlic through a press; add to cheeses with 1/2 cup of the cola. Add margarine, onion, Worcestershire, dry mustard, salt, and pepper sauce. Beat at low speed until blended.

Gradually add remaining Coke; beat on high until fairly smooth and light.

Pack in a covered container. Chill a few hours or overnight. Dip keeps well for a week or more.
