Recipe(tried): How to get those mile high muffins

Breads - Muffins, Quick Breads
The only way to get those very high, domed muffins, is to use a Pizza Stone. Place it in the oven when you first turn on the heat. When the oven has reached the proper temperature, place your filled muffin tin on top of the pizza stone to bake. Voila! Beautiful high muffins.

The stone is also the way to get the best results when baking a frozen pizza, or re-warming leftover pizza.
It's more than worth the investment. I use mine all the time.
