HOW TO USE OLIVE OIL AS A BUTTERLIKE SUBSTITUTE
"Use the firm olive oil as a spread instead of butter when serving bread, baked potatoes, other vegetables, and anything else on which you usually spread butter - your heart will thank you."
Use the plastic top of a butter dish or part of an ice cube tray to freeze olive oil, or pour the oil into a plastic bowl or very small rectangular pan and freeze.
When the oil solidifies, store it in the refrigerator.
