Recipe: Italian Filled Cookies

Desserts - Cookies, Brownies, Bars
ITALIAN FILLED COOKIES

6 eggs
1 cup sugar
1 Dash salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 pound butter
6 cups flour
6 teaspoons baking powder

FILLING:
1/2 cup semi sweet chocolate
1 Medium jar apple butter
6 tablespoons crushed walnuts

Mix together. Beat together sugar and butter, slowly add eggs and vanilla, then add dry ingredients. Roll flat with a rolling pin. Cut into squares, fill with filling and lap over. After rolled flat you could also make into a jelly roll and slice it on an angle.
