Recipe(tried): Korean BBQ Beef

Ingredients
Beef short ribs 2 lb
Garlic cloves 5 , minced
Minced ginger 1 tablespoon
Scallions 3 , chopped
Dry sherry 1/4 cup
Sugar 3 tablespoons
Sesame oil 1 teaspoon
Sesame seeds 1 teaspoon
Soy sauce 6 tablespoons
Salt as needed

Method
Ask the butcher to cut beef short ribs across the bones into 1/2" thick pieces
or you can buy the cut ones at supermarkets (sometimes I buy them at American
supermartkets). Marinade: mix minced garlic, ginger, scallions, dry sherry,
sugar, sesame oil, sesame seeds, and soy sauce in a large bowl. Add beef ribs
to the bowl and marinate for at least 2 hours. Grill the ribs for about 15-20
minutes or until cooked through. Serving suggestion: Serve Korean bbq beef with
rice and kimchi (see recipe). You can marinade the ribs overnight and grill
them the next day.
