Recipe: Latkes using food processor

Side Dishes - Potatoes

Hi T. Lee;
Here's a recipe I found on the net that uses the food processor for the potatoes and onions.
Recipe for: Potato Latkes
From the family of: Rothstein

History of recipe: Jewish Origin
These latkes are traditionally made during the Festival of Chanukah. They recall the miracle that took place over 2000 years ago when a handful of Jews called Macabees were victorious over their enemies and when a little jar of oil sufficient for only 1 day burned miraculously for 8.

Ingredients and Amounts:
5 large potatos - peeled
1 large onion
3 eggs
1/3 cup flour
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. salt
oil for frying

Preparations:
Chop up potatoes and onion in a food processor. Add eggs, flour and seasonings. Mix well. Heat oil in large skillet and fry 1 large tablespoon of batter until golden brown on each side. Serve with applesauce and/or sour cream.
