Recipe(tried): Lemon Bark - chocolate with fruit

Desserts - Candy, Chocolate
Hi...
I am not sure if this is what she meant, but...
Recently, at a gourmet food/candy shop, I sampled a chocolate bark with a top layer of fruit bark.

They sell several varieties of this. I had the lemon, and my sister and I were in love with it.
I came home and tried to duplicate it with pretty good results. This is what I did for the lemon bark:

I made a small rectangle as I was experimenting..you could certainly make much larger proportions.

Lemon Bark:

MELT TOGETHER:
2 squares melting choc. bark
equal amount semi sweet chips

stir together, and then spread in a rectangle shape on cookie sheet. (in larger quantities you could put in cake pan)...refrig.

melt 4 squares of white choc.
Add lemon extract to taste....I used about 1 tsp. for my quantity. You want a good strong lemon flavor.
yellow food coloring...add drop at a time till you have the color you want. Mix.
Spread this on top of the dark choc. and refrig.

yellow sugar sprinkles
Place these in small ziplock bag. Add lemon extract...about one capful, and then shake till all coated. Sprinkle this on top of the bark. When bark is set completely. Break or cut into pieces.

They are sold in pkg. of 2 squares, then in a box of several small pkg. Some of the flavors they have are berry, french mint, and butterscotch. The berry has berries in it that are pretty in the white choc. I was thinking of trying this with a seedless raspberry jam. I would first do it with a small amount of choc. to see how it mixes.

Hope this is helpful. It really is good, and so easy.
