MenusLinda, you said you had an abundance of apples in your freezer. Try this delicious Apple Cake and you won't be sorry!!
Apple Dapple Cake
3 cups flour
2 cups sugar
1 cup oil
4 eggs
2 1/2 tsp. vanilla
3 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2-2 apples, peeled, cored and sliced
handful raisins
1 tblsp. cinnamon
powdered sugar
Sliced apples are to be put into a bowl with 1/4 cup sugar and cinnamon and raisins. Let sit.
Combine flour, sugar, oil and eggs. Beat well. Add vanilla and baking powder. Pour half the batter into a greased and floured Bundt pan, layear the apple mixture over and pout the remaining batter over. Bake at 350 for 50-60 minutes... when cooled, sprinkle powdered sugar over or you can make a glaze and drizzle over. Enjoy!!
