Recipe(tried): Longboy Burger
SandwichesADVERTISEMENT
I have eaten these sandwiches as a kid...and have fixed them for my kids. I don't know if they are the same..but I will tell you about mine.
I have made them a couple different ways...here's one way: 1 lb ground beef, 1 envelope of Lipton dry onion soup mix..1 egg...a little catsup, make them in long loaf shapes..bake them as you would a meat loaf... not over cooking them...then putting the loaf on a nice long deli bun, put cheese on top...put back in oven till the cheese is melted, and the bun is warm. Served with chips and slaw... it's a GREAT lunch. I hope this is what you are looking for.
