LAYERED CHERRY WHIP
"Simple and speedy is this double self-layering dessert. Perfect for last-minute dinner guests because it sets in 15 minutes."
1 (8 oz.) can pitted dark sweet cherries
1 (3 oz.) package Jell-O Cherry Flavor Gelatin
1 1/2 cups crushed ice
Drain cherries, reserving syrup. Add water to syrup to make 1 cup; bring to a boil.
Place cherries in individual glasses.
Combine gelatin and boiling liquid in electric blender container Cover and blend at low speed until gelatin is dissolved. 1 minute. Add crushed ice; then blend at high speed until ice is melted, 30 seconds.
Pour gelatin mixture over cherries in glasses. Do not stir. Chill at least 15 minutes, or until set.
Makes 4 cups or 6 servings
