Recipe: Maple Glazed Chicken Wings

Appetizers and Snacks
MAPLE GLAZED CHICKEN WINGS

3 pounds whole chicken wings
1 cup maple syrup
2/3 cup chili sauce
1/2 cup finely chopped onion
2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes

Cut chicken wings into 3 sections; discard wing tip.

In a large sealable plastic bag or shallow dish combine all ingredients except chicken. Reserve 1 cup of mixture separately, cover and refrigerate. Place chicken wings in the marinade in the dish, coat well and let sit for about 4 hours or overnight.

WHEN READY TO COOK:
Drain and discard marinade and grill chicken for 12-15 minutes over medium hot coals. You can also bake this at 375 degrees F for about 30 minutes, or use your broiler (if you have a gas oven) and cook for about 25 minutes.
